Let’s break down the key differences to help you choose the right one.

Performance and Battery Life

Pixel Watch 3:

Battery Life: Lasts up to 24 hours with the always-on display; up to 36 hours in Battery Saver mode.

Charging: Charges 20% faster than the Pixel Watch 2, with the 41 mm model reaching 50% in about 24 minutes.

Processor: Equipped with the Qualcomm SW5100 processor and a Cortex M33 co-processor for smoother performance.

Pixel Watch 2:

Battery Life: Up to 24 hours with the always-on display; no specific details on a Battery Saver mode.

Charging: Offers standard fast charging.

Processor: Uses the previous generation chipset, providing solid but slightly less efficient performance.

Verdict: The Pixel Watch 3 steps up with better battery life, faster charging, and a more responsive experience thanks to its upgraded processor.

Fitness and Health Tracking

Pixel Watch 3:

Advanced Fitness Tracking: Adds new metrics like cadence, stride, and vertical oscillation, along with enhanced running metrics. It also features personalized readiness insights and cardio load tracking for more tailored fitness advice.

Fitbit Premium: Offers deeper integration with Fitbit Premium, including personalized workout recommendations and advanced health insights, such as detailed sleep patterns and stress management tools.

Pixel Watch 2:

Fitness Tracking: Covers standard fitness metrics and heart rate monitoring, with some Fitbit Premium integration but lacks the advanced running metrics and personalized insights that the Pixel Watch 3 introduces.

Verdict: If you’re serious about fitness, the Pixel Watch 3’s advanced tracking and personalized coaching features make it a standout option.
